Student Equity
UWA is committed to continuing to widen participation and support students from diverse backgrounds in higher education. The Student Equity team sits within the Student Life portfolio, and our layered and long-term approach includes initiatives embedded across at all stages of the student life cycle.
Our programs provide broad-based, early intervention outreach and an admission entry pathway for students of high potential but limited means and opportunity.

Aspire UWA
Aspire UWA is a school-based program engaging students in Years 7-12 to increase university aspirations, support academic capabilities and promote the individual, community and societal benefits of higher education.
Children’s University
Children's University works with partner primary schools to foster aspirations and a love of learning by providing access to outstanding extra-curricular learning activities.
Fairway UWA
Fairway UWA is a program that provides students completing Year 12 under challenging circumstances with an admission pathway to UWA.
Girls in Engineering
Girls in Engineering is an outreach program that inspires female students to pursue career pathways in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
